For Congregations & Ministry Leaders

Church Safety & Preparedness Program

A complete security partnership for your congregation, led jointly by Allie and Zack Lathem. Not a one-day class. We assess where you stand, build or train the team that protects your church, and hand your leadership the written plans to back it up.

  1. 1

    Assess

Before anything else, we find out what you actually need.

    • Baseline security assessment: a full operational review of your building, access points, and current posture before training begins
    • Live-service assessment: an unannounced, real-time evaluation of your team during an actual service, confirming the congregation is genuinely protected
  2. 2

    Build & Train

Starting from zero, or sharpening a team you already have.

    • Build a volunteer security team from the ground up
    • Train an existing team, covering both armed and unarmed roles
    • Medical classes, so your team can respond to a real emergency, not just a security threat
  3. 3

    Plan

Every program ends with plans your leadership keeps.

    • Operations plan
    • Medical plan
    • Fire plan
    • Evacuation plan

Every congregation is different, so every program is scoped and quoted to fit yours.

Before You Book

Frequently Asked

I have never held a firearm. Is that okay?

Yes. Many students arrive with zero experience. If you are brand new, start with the Basic Pistol Course or Ladies Pistol Class, or contact us before registering and we will advise the right fit.

How old do I have to be?

Adult classes require students to be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian and noted before sign up. We also run a dedicated Youth Shooting Sports and Safety class for ages 5 to 17.

What do I need to bring?

Generally a reliable handgun or rifle, a quality holster, the listed round count, at least three magazines, and mandatory eye and ear protection, plus water and weather-appropriate clothing. Each class page lists exact gear and ammunition.

What if I do not own a firearm yet?

Contact us about limited rental options. We would rather get you trained safely than have you wait. We can talk through gear before you buy.

How do I pay and reserve a seat?

Classes are booked and paid through the online calendar. Some multi-part programs, such as Church Safety, require a deposit to reserve, with the balance due as agreed.

Where are classes held?

We train in Cleveland, Georgia and serve the wider North Georgia community. Home defense and church programs are conducted on location.
